The inspect element on chrome and firefox really help to create the CSS for the site.
impressive formating :o
And I DO like that wee flying saucer leaving those telltale CotM crop circles!

I do have plans to improve the home page with some additional css once the campaign reaches a certain plot milestone. The banner was recently changed to add in the alien hand holding the earth as the aliens tighten their grip on the planet.
I should add: “Best HOME PAGE ever!”
Ohhhh Myyyyy
Love X-Com. Love the site, Gets more and more impressive every time I look at it
Best comment link ever!! You keep improving this site- it deserves Campaign of the Year.
I agree with Jim. LOL! I don’t need to know how to do it, but so many people just ignore the comments button and it really detracts people from being able to communicate their admiration for really good sites. And this is most definitely one of the most interesting on offer.

That comment thing is fantastic! How’d you do it?
Congratulations on winning CotM. A most deserved win!
Thanks, unfortunately I couldn’t fit all the planets got too busy.
Digging your animated solar system!
There’s a lot of really impressive work that’s been done with this site! Campaign seems like a lot of fun too from the logs :)
Looking forward to those planets…..

GREAT styling and that image map on the wiki is BOMB. Helluva job!
Thanks Twigs, the intro was easy since they idea for the campaign was based on the XCom computer games. Originally the campaign was going to be after an alien invasion, but some players were interested in a pre invasion storyline before doing the post invasion one, so i just modified the intro to be a movie that foreshadows what is to come.
The main wiki page is a screenshot of my desktop after modifying the labels of links to reflect the main campaign pages. A little transition in the css moves the icons on hover.
Gosh! What a fantastic looking campaign. Great little intro video and that main wiki page is one of the best designs I have ever seen on Obsidian Portal. Lots of good information in the links and miles and miles of interesting logs. Go X-Com!
